Terms and Condition

• Every registration / booking is binding.
• Reservations for ferry tickets are subject to the General Conditions of Carriage of the Cassen-Eils shipping company in Cuxhaven. We reserve the right to request advance payment.
  

• Each participant in the events is responsible for themselves, their own behavior and actions.

• Each participant is aware of their own health and physical suitability for a mudflat hike lasting several hours.

• If the minimum number of 15 participants for an event is not reached, we reserve the right to cancel the event at short notice. We shall not be liable for any claims arising from this, in particular no financial claims.
• Current events such as storms, heavy rain, thunderstorms, and significant fluctuations in tide levels may necessitate the postponement or even the very short-notice cancellation of planned events. In such cases, no financial claims will be accepted, including for travel expenses, booked accommodations, etc. Only payments made in advance will be refunded within two weeks of the postponed or canceled event date.

• You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. 
• To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement ( e.g. by post, fax or email ). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but this is not obligatory.

• Cancellation is free of charge within this period. If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will use the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

• For registrations/bookings made 7 to 2 days before the event date, free cancellation is not possible. A cancellation fee of 50% of the total price will be charged.
• For registrations/bookings made 1 day or less before the event date, free cancellation is not possible. The full price will be charged.
• Changing the date after registration/booking is possible up to 3 days before the event.
• Changing the date after registration/booking is free of charge up to 3 days before the event.
• No refund of the prepayment will be issued for no-shows.
• No refund of the prepayment will be issued for late arrival at the agreed meeting point and subsequent missed participation in the event.
• According to § 312g para. 2 no. 9 of the German Civil Code ( BGB ), there is no right of withdrawal for contracts for the provision of services related to leisure activities if a specific date or period for the provision of the service is stipulated in the contract. Therefore, there is no right of withdrawal for contracts concerning the sale of tickets for leisure events with a fixed date.
